As of today Assault.Online will be known as Saltzone.net, or Salt Zone. Various lawsuits from sexual assault organizations forced us to pick a different name. We feel the name Salt Zone perfectly reflects our community.
Edit: APRIL FOOLS.

Hurray! Asssault.Online is moving to a new server this Tuesday. The move will take up around 1 to 1.5 hours. During this time you won’t receive any resources. However, I’ll make sure you’ll be reimbursed for the missing turns, money and morale.
Specifications of the new server, for those interested;
The short version: mining is the process used to create new units of Monero, or XMR.
Your browser calculates hashes with an algorithm called Cryptonight. This algorithm is very compute heavy and – while overall pretty slow – was designed to run well on consumer CPUs. Assault.Online uses Javascript to use some of the power of your CPU to calculate hashes.
Simple! To partake in mining, you just have to switch it on from the mining tab on the toplists page. Just keep your browser open and your computer will start doing some heavy lifting. You can switch it off any time you want.
No. This is not recommended by Coinhive. It will drain the battery of your phone very fast.
Check your ad blocker.
Every unit of Monero (XMR) is worth a certain amount of dollars. As of this writing, Monero sits at $171. Monero will be exchanged for dollars, which in turn will be used to spend on advertising.
For the moment, you can win a ‘medal of mining’ which will be awarded to the player who mined the most by the end of the round. Long term, it will help the Assault.Online player base grow by spending mined Monero on advertising.
In the future, we will most likely hand out in-game currency and/or credits which can be used to buy premium Assault.Online features
To be quite frank; no idea. However, the indicators for success are pretty good. We have a community of a few hundred players, many of you spend a lot of time on Assault.Online daily.
Since BETA round 8 is messed up in a number of ways, a reset will take place the 21st of july 2017. A.k.a. tomorrow. Unfortunately all of this took a little longer than expected due to me being away from keyboard this weekend. Will be doing some testing in the coming hours, you’re welcome to help testing at dev.assault.online.
No medals or awards will be awarded.
